In the years I've been on here, all the posts I've read say using any 200 is the weak link in a strong powertrain. I would remember it, cause I have a '78 version of the 200 in a all-stock car, don't need it beefed up.

and you can make a 2004r strong but i wouldnt expect a local transmission shop to do it though...unless they're known for beefing up these things. they're not the same as a th350 or a 400.
i love warranties though. too bad i lost mine...good reason to upgrade to an OD transmission though! 3 speed autos FTL! you cant run a decent gear without wrecking your gas mileage.

I'm fairly certain you will need to send yours out to one of the 200 4r gurus if you want it to last and it isn't cheap. Pulling it in and out isn't fun either.
