sweet ! thanks ill deffinatly look into those! if im gunna spend money on this car im gunna do it and make it look right! those prices are fair too! you know how much an unpainted lip kit for my 2000 malibu is? $900 plus shipping!

eh oh well I dont have the skillz to do something like that anyway, but yea... sun roof might not be impossible, right? just need some plexiglass and some sealer right? lol i doubt id ave the heart to hack up a car anyway! lol

My engine is a 350 Chevy, as listed in my sig. It's a boring combo, but it works pretty well.

And yes, my quip about T Tops was an over generalization, but most of them did leak at one point, some when new.

Color is good. Last engine I bought was a replacement Chevy 350 for my old Malibu about 15 years ago, and it was $1500.

What you spend depends on what you want to do with it. Weekend warrior? Daily driver? Nowadays, most people look for a bit of both.

lol yep both... wanna make it handel but idk how much thats gunna cost me.

Not what I would paint my engine, but that's me. I think I have $1900 in my engine, and it is as black as GM intended with no chrome, etc. Looks like a 305, but does not drive like one...

As for making it handle well, I have gone that route myself and there are cheap and expensive things you can do. Anyone can improve on the stock one for little outlay as they are horrible cars in their most basic stock form. I will probably have over $2,000 in the suspension and brakes when I am done, and I have by no means done anything too radical.

Oh, and yes, some G bodies did come with power sunroofs. However, it would be hard to convert to one by using the roof that is on the car. It would be easier to just cut the one roof off and weld on the one from a donor.

not painting the motor red.... the car itself....lol

well its looking like im not going to get that florida sunshine into my car lol im trying to keep this car in the tops of 6,000$ price range for everything but we will see how it goes...lol
