Scanmaster is a very good sign and it or some type of scan tool is neccessary to go fast and to do it safely. You cannot fly in the blind with these cars. It will cost you big. Aftermarket boost guage is another good sign but its very old. With the larger turbo & some race fuel you will be able to and want to exceed 20lbs. If you can get another 10 to 15 HP from each pound of boost in the turbos efficient range and you can run say 24lbs with race fuel instead of say 17 on pump gas. Well its a lot of power by turning up the wick, naturally everything has to be in order and you will need to creep up on it. Make sure you have a good aftermarket fuel pump and that it is properly direct wired and it looks like it has a non adjustable fuel pressure regulator. You will need an adjustable one as well as a way or turning up the boost which is often done with a threaded waste gate rod. I can't see from the pic if the wastegate rod has been threaded. Check out www.gnttype.org for spring cleaning and basic go fast recepies including some tuneing parameters.
I'm always a little skeptical. People have tried to sell me a fake Monte SS, a Nova SS clone passing it off as real, etc.
Although not many people would go to so much effort with the GN seats, underhood emblems, etc. And a Turbo Limited or a T-Type is nearly just as valuable as a GN so there's not that much point to that. Haha
