hello everyone, I am new to this site as a member. I am 17 years old and just bought my first (road worthy) car. (my parents gave me their 87 cutlass supreme about 8 months ago with totally rotted rear frame and floor pans and me and my dad welded new pans in and had the frame welded but no garage around us would safety it sold I sold it and bought), a 1981 chevy Malibu or as many people may know it as, an Iraqi Taxi. it is a four door with a 3.8 litre v-6 with 70,000 kms on it with a 3 speed manual transmission, it has been oil undercoated since new so it doesn't have a rust/rotting problem like my cutlass did, anyways here is some pictures of it, (I hope I uploaded them correctly, and am going to put up more tomorrow)
Thanks for looking

Welcome! Those are really cool cars, a good friend of mine had one in high school but a previous owner has swapped a '79 front clip on it. Much cooler than my first car, an '86 Ford Tempo 😳

thank you, and ya I think it is pretty cool too, ive never driven a standard transmission before, but im starting to get the hang of it. and even though the tempo may not have been the best looking car I bet it was great on gas

Hello, and welcome to the site. I also have one of these cars. Do you currently have an ad on Kijiji in Durham region, looking for parts for your Malibu? If so, I'm not far from you.

Welcome aboard!
Those are pretty cool and unique cars. 8)

thanks. and yes it being unique is one of the main reasons I bought it, Id hate to be like all the other guys my age cruising around in a Honda civic
