Last weekend I was talked into bringing my Caballero to a car show a hr. away..my boyfriend has a chopped 49 ford with a t bird interior..real attn. getter,even though my 4 speed id pooched (my HURST is almost here!) and 4th gear is questionable...I drove her...our other friend has a low rider truck,and lastly a Camaro RS SS owned by another guy friend..i got a blister trying to jam the shifter in 4th a few times...but once in 4th she was soooooo smooth on the old highways..like riding a couch on air! this is my first car show I had my own car in and not just sitting in a passenger seat along for the ride....within the hr...I had one guy want to buy her on the spot!!! I declined...big plans for her...anyhoo heres some pic..my old man got a huge trophy for best custom..yes that's a poor pic of me with the Gen lee..lol...had a great time...and this weekend I have my rear wiring being fixed ..and maybe i'll take my car to work Monday.. 😀
