I initally bought my house cuz of the garage!! it was big enough for now and has been a a good set up !! well i started to build it up for doing sidework and working on my ride comfortably.. Well i finally got a heater installed a week ago and got it drywalled on the ceilings this last weekend next is to insulate the ceiling and door but the ceiling drywall has made a HUGE difference!! I'm getting it taped and finished next week!!

Nice. I bet it's way brighter with the sheet rock. I'd love heat like that.

Thanks for the compliments!!

Very nice! Are you planning on having a lift?

I've been thinking about it, that would be SWEET!! I have seen some used two post's going for about 1500 maybe even less but i think if i installed it would take alot of room. I would like to be able to park two cars side by side but it doesn't leave much room to move around. the lift would have to be in the center of it and if i did that then it would have to be a dedicated one car garage. Which would be sweet if i had additional covered parking on the side for my GP.. hmmm gonna check and see if i could do a covered carport on the side. 8)

It really made a difference lightwise.. and the heater i got used off of craigslist for 150 and i cashed in a favor to my buddy who i swapped a engine in his sister's ride this summer. He ran the gas line from the front of the house to the garage which was about 100ft and installed the heater. I had another friend wire it in for exchange in working on his wife's car.

well it's been a few weeks and FINALLY it's done!!
Taped and mudded...

Thanks!! had to keep my buddies hydrated... I am just glad to have friends that are willing to help!

Well i insulated my garage door just in time as the cold weather starts rolling in.. :| I bought some aluminum faced 3/4in polystyrene 8x4 sheets and cut them to fit. I used my laser thermometer and pointed it and the bare steel portion and then to the insulated panel and it was a 20 degree difference!! 48 vs 68. It did make the door a bit heavier but its worth it having a warm garage 8) i closed down shop and went back in a few hours later and it was still nice and warm.
