my luck with ordering new autoparts

true, but sometimes it's the "in betweens" that create some of the problems... I work @ advance, and can't tell you how many times I see plugs get dropped(both employees and customers), boxes come in crushed, and how many people that, no matter how many times you curse them out, still tend to turn the carb boxes on their side or turn it upside down trying to see something on the box..... :?
 
It all boils down to QC or the lack there of.....QC takes more time...and more time costs more money. I work at AZ and I open every box with a part inside, inspect it for defects, missing pieces, and tool marks before I charge the customer for it. That way, if they bring it back for refund or warranty, I know what to look for and whether or not they are swapping parts to fix their car when they dont know what the problem is..... :blam:

i work at AZ as well i do the same thing i look in every box i had some guy get the water pump for a 2003 chevy the gen 3 chevy v8 $110 i think
well i looked int he box yes every thing looks good.
i was covering some one so i was staying late on my lunch i here the guy tells my boss this water pump is used!
i was like WTF? i walk out what do you mean it is used? my boss tells him we have 1 at the store 3 mils away he tells him no i all ready got one.
i jumped in yeah the one you just installed from us dude! it took you 3 hrs to open the box and see it was used yeah right how about you installed it and are trying to return your busted one!

We get this sh*t where I work at also. Its pathetic that some people will do this but sadly most of the times the customer wins because "the customer is always right" :roll:
