My new '81 Cutlass

Welcome and way to go! I love seeing another Olds saved from the crusher. Just be prepared for a lot of cursing and scraped knuckles...lol. Good idea is to make a game plan of different goals for the car and as you progress, you can check them off one by one. These projects can take months to years, depending on time, money, parts, etc. This site is chocked full of info about everything...and the people on here will really help to keep you focused on the bigger picture, yet also allow you to concentrate on the smaller ones when the need arises. Good luck with the Olds!

Thanks Dogshit, and Bill, I appreciate the congrats/good luck and the websites, I'm just glad this isn't my first car! ha ha, I also have an '86 Chevy C10, Im not the most experienced, but I know a lot, and my grandfather helps me all the time, and he has been a marine/heavy-duty/general mechanic his whole life

So I made it up to Leduc, and picked up the car, The owner of the impound yard only charged me for 3 days, and only charged $30 a day, so $90 and some gas money later, its home 😀 So ill give you guys some updated pics,
I Got 'er all washed up, so shes at least Shiny ha ha

You got a pretty good deal, congrats. It won't take long to get her up and running, you'll be surprised how cheap parts are for these. This is a good forum to find parts and advice, good luck with your new Cutty!

After I took out the nasty old headliner, and a pic of the diff, Got to have at least one!
