Looks like the cardboard backing of a headliner to me 🤔
This is actually the cardboard I cut out from the crate that my new Monte hood came in from Glasstek.
It's great for sliding under the car and covering my Regal engine in between rocker arm adjustments while I cut the grass.

Sorry to report that the temporary hood is now back serving it's original purpose which is for me to lay on and the Regal's original hood is back on in it's place.
