Looks like your off to a good start. Watch out with that cardboard tho! lol We all learn somehow. Can't wait to see it when you get it done!

haha! thanks man. yeah, about the cardboard....its F*CKING COLD HERE!!!! and i was a desperate man in need of some heat/defrost! haha. i ordered that panel from american graffiti like 3 weeks ago, and it still hasn't got here! anyone else on here use their ac delete panel? did you drill holes in the top like they say in their instructions? seems like that would cause water to get in and on to the floor board, even though they say to drill a small drain hole on the bottom, that just doesnt sound right. and it looks shotty in the pictures they have on their instruction page.

I think we had a discussion about vacuum plating g-body Cutlass grilles on this site before, and the average price was about $400 to get a pair done. For about that price, you could get NOS grilles . . .

that's because its just a piece of sheet metal, good instructions for it would be kind of over the top. Clean up underneath before its bolted on, and then go around the edges with silicone so theres no water leak

no its not a just a piece of sheet metal. heres the picture of it :

it relocates the fan so you can still have heat, and defrost without all the ac stuff. the instructions are actually quite extensive. you have to cut up pieces of the old heater box and make little pieces out of them to fit behind this one.

clean up the firewall before it goes on and put silicone around it and the bolts to seal it up. 200$ for a/c delete, need to get into that business
