n-body malibu new paint job pics: 9/27 (56k warning)

I got a good deal on a paint job for my 2000 malibu ls. He laid some pretty thick clear and candy paint on it, so it wont be completely wet sanded and buffed for a few weeks. so Since its killing me to show it to someone, I figured Id give you guys a few teaser pics.

but what's next? I would guess that you'd put rims on it but are there any performance plans? I've never really seen much done to one of those cars.

nah, theres really not a whole lotta performance I can do to this car without hitting the lottery, which in case would go into a v8 in my cutlass lol. not messing with rims either, just need to clean up the stockers and shine up the tires.

its just my daily driver, and it needed a paint job badly, so I got the opportunity to get this done and went with it. I just wanted to have something to show for my senior year of h/s since the ****ed up motor is prohibiting me from having it finished any time in high school ( budget wise)

technically if i was gunna make it fast, it would swap in a 3500 and turbo it, and put a gtp transmission in. I would be able to own most v8's with that setup, but idk if id be worth it.

If it's a 4 banger ECOTEC, there is PLENTY you can do...like finding a wrecked Cobalt SS and doing a swap...

If it's a 4 banger ECOTEC, there is PLENTY you can do...like finding a wrecked Cobalt SS and doing a swap...

i wish it was an ecotec! that would be my second engine swap choice!

its just a clean design, u gotta see this paint in person, its just awesome, I actually didnt choose the candy paint, I ordered the wrong stuff, and he had the candy paint laying around so he mixed it to keep it close to the same color. if i get rims it may be 2009 malibu 19" rims, but nothing else. its not meant to be a donk type thing, just a clean car.
