I got a set of 3 raw aluminum N90s and one light gray one on the 85 SS I just acquired. On the raw finished ones, it appears to have tapered (conical) lug nuts. The light gray one has the notch for the washer and shanked lug nut. The raw ones don't appear to have a notch at all for a washer. Did the 2nd gen Camaros that got these have tapered lugs? What the?

I was thinking the early N90 Camaro wheels used the funky conical/washer lug nut like the late C3 corvettes.

When I had the 2nd generation Camaro RS wheels on my car, they used the conical/ rounded lugnuts...not like the ones that Brian has pictured above. ^^

Yep, most GM wheels since the metric stud swap use a bulge seat, some call it a conical also

Not to be confused with traditional old school conical seat or acorn nuts, which will tear up an aluminum wheel
