Ok. I have an '85 Grand Prix. It has the original light blue paint that came on the car stock. Still in pretty good condition. I am wanting to get some wheels for it as it still has the old wire wheel hubcaps on it. I was thinking about going with some American Racing IROC wheels (replicas), or some Torque Thrust II (chrome). I don't want to go to big in size so I'm either thinking 16's or 17's.

Any suggestions?

Maybe it's just me, but I think IROC's belong on Chevys. I like the Torque II's but it seems like everyone and their brother has them.

Here's a few other possibilities that I don't see very often. Chrome Pontiac Rallye II's and the Cragar Eliminator 500.

I like snowflakes myself. 15`s are fairly easy to find but my next set (one of these days) will be the 17 inch ones from yearone.

I like the WS6 snowflakes too. The only thing that deters me from them is cleaning all the crevices.

How much can you get a set of the Kragers that were mentioned for? I'm on a little bit of a budget but want chrome.

Oh man, for me, nothing does it quite like a nice set of rally II's on a pontiac

I'm leaning towards the American Racing IROC 16's. I like the Crager that were mentioned as well. Summit currently does not have the Krager's in stock. The difference in the two is the IROC's are $159 and the Krager's run about $219. About a 70 buck difference. I could use that difference to go with tires for the IROC's.

What size tire would I need for the IROC's if I went with 16's. Any suggestions?

Are the chrome American Racing IROC replica wheels made of good quality? Reason I ask is someone I talked to at work said they think the chrome on them looks like a cheap plastic look.

Also, what site is the )est to buy wheels from online?

I LOVE the Eliminators and am planning on a set of gray spokes for my car. Coys Wheel had a huge selection of them at the Portland swap meet last April and they had a set in 15" for $500 and 17" for $600(?) I just didn't have the cash at the moment. Summit and Jegs carry them but if you shop around you can get better deals. Whatever style you decide on is what you should get. Don't settle on something you don't love over a matter of a couple hundred $$$.
