Hello , trying to get my El Camino back on the road , but my left tail light is acting goofy . It's dim , when I hit the brake ,it shuts off, and my hazard flashers are flashing sporadic, and dim. I have new bulbs in side markers , tail ,and park. I'm suspecting a bad tail, brake ,blink socket. any input would be appreciated

Make sure you check your ground(s)...and it couldn't hurt to check your sockets and put a little dielectric grease in them.
A bad ground could cause your lights to act wonky.

Thanks guys, I did the grease ,checked the grounds ,that I could find . One in the back coming out of the tail light harness, that shares a spot with the fuel sending unit , two up front behind left and right head lights, frame to engine block, body to frame, negative battery to alt bracket. Are there more grounds that I'm missing ?

Thanks ,I'm gonna hit Napa tomorrow and try to get a socket for the left tail /stop/blink.

I have my lights working !! Found a broken terminal in the right front turn signal socket. My hazards are still flashing funny ,but everything else is working. I wonder if my flasher is going bad ? Any thoughts?
