So I can get a good 350 with intake and edelbrock carb for $400 with 35,000 miles the year of it is I think 2000.. my question is will my 305 pulleys and fan and parts fit the 350 or no? And is that as good deal? Engine looks pretty decent.. Thanks

I think if you have all the brackets you should be able to fit your components onto it but the crank pulley might be different. The engine itself sounds like a great deal

You need the harmonic ballancer and flexplate/flywheel from the 350 but other than that your parts should work. Make sure the mounting holes on the heads are the same for the brackets. Also, if the 350 is new enough it will probably have a reverse drive water pump that is set up for a serpentine belt drive so you'll have to use your water pump from the 305 also. Good luck!

and if the block is new enough it may not have the opening for a mechanical fuel pump and the cam may not have a lobe on it for the fuel pump. It's most likely a roller block and it may have vortec heads. Why is that engine so reasonably priced?

Thanks for the replys!.. Engine came of from a elco. he needs to get rid of it to pay some bills.. I think its price low because its the engine with just valve covers, intake, carb, no pulleys and no hoses or wires.. I have a 305 so I ask.. will I need a chip? Or will my harness work with it?

O and yes its a serpentine belt drive..? I think i'm goin to need some help with the completing of this 350..?? :-?

Do you have the CCC carburetor? You could probably just bypass the computer if you don't have to go through emissions.
