This is a ? for a race car fabrication shop. What about the shop that built the car? If it was my car I would find a competent shop and have them do the work or give me direction. Some times you have to pay for good advice but in the long run it is cheeper, there are guys in my area on the west coast that will help set up your car at the track for a price.

Lol iam a 20 yr old kid who is a hoax mechanic by trade and new basically nothing about cars and one day decided to sit and research and put the car together myself no shop lol I do the work myself I don't believe in paying for ppl to do my work I wanna get my hands dirty

there are a few drag racers in here that'll help you out...when you want to start turning left at the end of the straight away let me know..

I help build and crew on circle track cars and we turn left after the drag down the front straight and after the drag race down the back straight....drag racers forget to turn left..

Is the car a rear wheel drive G body? Do you have pics of your car?

If your car is a rear wheel drive G body I would like to see your strut install because these cars never came with stuts.
If your car is a front wheel drive 87 cutlass that you converted in to a rear wheel drive I would like to see that as well as there is a lot of fab work to build such a car.
Thats why I said a chassis shop

The post says race car suspention that is why I thought the car was shop built with struts.

If your car has stock suspention you can drop the front with drop spindles and the rear with lowering springs. If the car is a rear wheel drive, the car came with a factory four link. There are a lot of new style anti roll bars on the market that bolt to the axle not the lower control arms, this will help the car hook. You can keep your factory control arms but it would be a good idea to box the lower arms. you might also want to brace the lower frame mounts as they are week if you are making any kind of power you will damage them. You should list your goals for the car as well as budget and what you have done to your car.If you want to just lower your car there are lots of posts on this forum on doing just that.
Good luck with your project

I meant shock not struts ...... The car is rear wheel drive and it's gonna be mostly a street car but will defy go to the track ...the cars soused as dynoed at 625hp and 675 ftlbs .... The car has a factory suspension other then the completion engineering shocks ... But iam not sure if I should go coilover suspension all around or use the ce shocks.... As far as budget iam not super rich nor super poor lmaoo I want the car to be a average build expecting to spend 20k wen car is finished already have about 10 k in it so far
