thanks yall, still interested in more opinions.. See i want to buy a car 2morrow, i found a 87 corvette that ran with a nice body for 1500 !!! yes i was 1 day too late.. I also have my eyes on a real nice cadillac deville, but the car I want is a cutlass. On the black one what else could be wrong with the motor if it isnt the carb?

I vote for the Vette. Then take the drive train outta the Vette, sell it for $1500 and buy the black cutty to put it in. 8)

first thing i'd check on the black one, if you buy it, is the brake booster. when you step on the brakes it may be leaking vac and pulling down the engine.

i went to go see it and it wasnt even black. it was beat up and worth 400 if that. I already have an 84 that needs work with a way better body than that.
i went and bought the lac but dont worry the cutty is next. thanks all
