I installed a GP dash in my el camino and want to install the tilt column and floor shifter out of the GP in it too. But one thing I didn't grab at the junkyard was the rod that goes from the column to the trans to keep the shifter locked in park when the steering column is locked. I really have no clue what it's called, where to find one or how to hook it up. If someone could show me a pic of it hooked up to the column and hooked up to the trans it would be much appreciated. Also where would I find one? I really wish I grabbed it when I took it all out but for some reason I thought I wouldn't need it.

Thanks but isn't that a pic for a column shift car? I need one for a floor shift car and how the shifter cable and rod attach to the trans.

Wait I think the lock rods are the same on column shift as floor shift cars right? I think I just need to get a gear selector for the trans that allows me to attach a shifter cable to.
