So my luck pulled through and my rad didn't hold yay money down the drain but I want some options for my car it's a dd 350sbc turbo 350 trans I have a external trans cooler so that is not a worry. Maybe Pontiac could chime since he endures the same weather and stuff thanks I am look around oem and aftermarket

you want to run the transmission cooling lines through the transmission rad even with an external cooler. The rad helps to heat up the transmission coolant and to keep it at the proper temp

okay I will do that but any suggestion on a good rad or a stock oem work?

you can buy a new rad cheaper than getting one recorded. Who does your boss deal with for rads

yes, I am running the 2 core alum Fbody rad for years now. AC, 100+ deg, sitting in traffic and it cools just fine.

CU 570 is the PN. Picked it up for $110 or $120 from the local rad shop when they said my copper core was not worth fixing
