I've done the same for years and never had a problem.

Correct, which is why the factory included the provision I described above:

The nose of the pump is cast iron.

Are you still running a/c? Did you check to make sure nothing is seized up?

yeah am still running a/c even though am not using it and no nothing is seized up .. would wd 40 help if its just a pulley
 
turns out is the alternator belt took it off squeaking went completely away swap alternator put belt back still the same squeal so it probably aint the alternator tensioned the belt all the way till it could barely be moved and still there any ideas or advice

i gotta check that out
 
also check to make sure none of the cooling fins on the alt didn't get bent slightly, and making contact with the alt body.... sounds stupid, but I have seen people do it without realizing it...
