Need some part numbers

I priced one out this afternoon using a 4th gen F body Walker, single in, dual out transverse muffler. 4-45s, 2-90s, a 180, a 4' section of 2.5" pipe, and the muffler comes out to around $240 through Jegs. Of course you still need hangers, clamps, and tips. I'm going to see how much a local will bend a mid-pipe for before I go any further.

The Monkey Wrench parts update; they list all exhaust parts as being in stock. NONE of them are. Order obviously cancelled.

Yeah, they had the discontinued Felpro rigid carrier Olds V8 valve cover gaskets on their site. Same thing, they were not in stock and obviously could not get them. Didn't see this till now. It sucks that anyone that wants to keep these cars stock need custom built systems. Of course if Olds would have put the FE3X prototype exhaust on these cars, people might not have removed the stock exhaust as their first mod. As you showed a second in the 1/4 mile on your 442 shows how awful the factory exhaust was even for a 307.

Just for laughs, may I suggest you call Heartthrob Exhaust in Litchfield, MN? http://www.heartthrobexhaust.com/ They do not list your car, but it might be worth a few minutes on the phone to see if they have the details to mandrel-bend your unobtainable pipes for you. Or they might have advice on where to inquire.

I have an NOS muffler for 79-80 Hurst Olds/442

I found a place that will reproduce the original mufflers. May possibly have tail pipes too but not sure yet. Price for muffler is a bit high though. If you wanna sell yours I'd be interested for the right price ( shipped ).
