New to the forums, and sort of new to this old wiper setup.. So my wipers used to work, except have some problems stopping. Now they completely don't work, I replaced wiper motor and they still do not work. The piece that the wiper arms connects to (don't know the name of it, it's sort of like a bolt sticking up that move the wiper arms) is stripped, could this be the problem? Should I replace the entire wiper linkage?

I take it this is a G body - not really sure of what you are talking about, can you post a pic

It is the piece at the ends of the wiper transmission that the wiper arms connect to, a little nob. I can get a picture later on

maybe you can circle the part you are talking about...

I can't right now, on my phone. But it is those 2 nobs on the longest rod in the picture, they are held to the car by 3 bolts, and when the rods move these nobs turn, when the wiper arm is on top of them the wipers move

It took me 2 days to ship the parts to you (FREE) which you received Sat the 5th. I am pretty disappointed I haven't received my shipping back. We try to help each other here - not screw them.
