So I have input my measurements into many online compression calculators and it seems to be much higher than we anticipated. I would like some insight and maybe some more numbers if y'all have good sources for this formula.
bore 4.030"
compressed head gasket thickness .039"
head gasket cylinder diameter 4.125"
piston to deck height .015"
4-valve relief flattop -5cc
piston compression height 1.560"
*041 GM heads originally 64cc After my head guy surfaced them, he found that the intake did not line up. So, these things have been shaved at some point in the past. My intake had to have some material removed for everything to line up correctly. I didn't actually fluid measure the chambers, so I don't know the exact number, but I just estimated 62cc
Let me know what you think :|
