There are no neutral safety wires wires.

Once again, the G-body cars do not have an electric neutral safety switch. The neutral safety function is purely mechanical through a blocking ring in the steering column that prevents the key from turning. If you don't reconnect the backdrive linkage from the trans, you will be able to start the car in any gear. There is a switch at the base of the steering column that is the backup light switch and on computer controlled cars it also provides a Park/Neutral signal to the ECU. It is not wired to the starter circuit in any way. The backup light wires are green.

o ki seriously didnt knw that but thank u for that can u tell me where it is located

The above reply is right on. I had to remove the shifter linkage for header clearence. When I used my b&m shifter I took the purple wire from the ignition switch ( the starter wire from the ignition switch ) and used that wire into the neutral safety switch on the shifter . All you are doing is adding the new switch into the circut . Be sure to use the correct gauge wire .All worked well and the car would only start in neutral and park. The reverse lights are right at the bottom of the column ( If my memory is correct I believe the wires are green. Good look

ok thanks for the info i will do that for the neutral switch but what guage wire i suposed to use?
