new from michigan with a GN

Nice ride! I have always wanted one too but they are hard to come by around here, not cheap anyways..have you looked at turbobuick.com? They should have some info. I am getting info from different websites to build my Grand Prix. :lol:
 
for sure definately check your vacuum lines, i know the ones ontop of the plenum will get hard and begin leaking. love the GN's, hope you get it working good.

thanks guys, the GN isnt quite away for the year, but i found a coolant leak yesterday, and the rear main seal is leaking, which i heard all GNs do, but yeah the vacuum liks are showing a bit of dry rot, and im sure under that much vacuum they are bound to leak even with the smallest bit of cracking.
 
Welcome. Are the replacement regulators adjustable or the stock 237 regs? And any dry rotted vac lines will leak under stock boost. So change all the lines since they are cheap and easy. Some guys, including myself, tie wrap them so they dont blow off.
