Just picked up a 1979 El Camino 454. Pretty much Rust free but sure needs some love in other areas. Looking forward to making it "mine" I suspect I'll be asking a lot of questions.

454 El Camino ? We once pulled a 350 diesel out of an '83 and put a 454 in. Was that factory at one time ??
