I wouldn't know how to act not laying on a cold damp gravel area to work in a car. That ^^^^^ would be nice. Been calling around and little surfing net and found a 2 post new in box for $2300 from Sears. Concrete guy is suppose to call after 5 tonight so him and I can fig out cost for concrete and his labor. Like to at least get pad poured before nasty weather hits.
The first winter I owned the Monte I was renting from a buddy of mine and he had just built a new garage. He had put in floor heat in when it was built, and let me use one side of the shop for the winter. It sure was nice, any tools left laying on the floor were nice & warm, everything was dry, what a treat that was 😀

Pay attention to the way the garage will face. Mine has the overhead door facing west and the afternoon sun is murder. The prevailing winds tend to blow a lot of leaves and trash in when I open the door.
I swear I'm not trying to jack your thread. You had mentioned that you might be doing some painting in your new shop so I wanted to put up a couple shots of my homemade booth. It's about 24'x16'. There are intake filters all around the roll-up door. At the front is a duct box built by a buddy in the HVAC biz with a bank of exhaust filters and has a HUGE exhaust fan. Lots of HO lighting, regulated air on both sides and a floor drain. Sorry the El Camino is in the way.
Driven, its all good man. I'm in awe of ur setup. The concrete guy n I are at an impass on his work. I'm starting to think he's going to lay gold instead of concrete. Shop is going to be 30'x40' 2 story. Really can't find any plans that I like but with weather changing already this might be a spring project now. Keep the hijacking going love the pics!
I don't know if you guys get the same pop up ads that I do. I had to laugh because there was a Garage door direct ad just below the last post on this thread.
