hi im mike from jax ,fl. i have a 87 monte ss, not sure if its a clone or not. have a 350 tbi from a tahoe and a 700r4 thats going in. i threw a cam in from 1 of my dads old hotrods, eddy preformer intake, headers probably run flowmasters, trying to decide on a card either and eddy or rodchester? will post pics later

thanx for the warm welcome guys. this build is going to be MY 1st hotrod. my dad is helping me and donating a lot of wisdom & spare parts. at 1 point he had 4 el caminos. i had a 1980 malibu as my 1st car but could not see past the rust bucket stage. anyway my goal is to build a nice weekend cruiser and to gain engine building experience to build my rocket (iroc). im hoping to get about 300hp out of this ride. i want to do a few custom mods to it but i really want it to just be clean not gaudy. i am going to put up a build thread soon, i think im going to use this car as advertising for my dad's shop.

haha its going nowhere fast at the moment (no engine or transmission) im still collecting parts before i get started putting it back together. so for right now its just collecting dust
