Hi. My name's Brandon.
I've been creeping the forum for a few days now and have poked my head in a few times before that. I'm from Whitby, ON, Canada and am the webmaster and member of the local Durham GBody's Car Club.
I have a 1985 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme (summer driver) and a 1988 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme for my winter beater (was my first car). I've had the 85' for just over a year and have since been replacing parts and fixing issues that wheren't addressed by the previous owner. The car already had a 350 Chev in it and the interior was near perfect, so I had a great base to start from with most of the work already done. I'm still unclear as too the trany or what gears I have in the rear (I do know it's a posi though). It's been great to work on and has been a learning experience for me.
Since I've had the thing I've replaced the valve covers, did a carb rebuild with help from friends, new air intake (needed EGR), Replaced rad and mechanical fan with aluminum rad and dual electric fans and installed some march brackets to fix the alignment issue with the camel hump heads not having the holes for regular brackets.
I'm currently in the middle of replacing my carpet, redoing a few interior pieces, rewiring my window motors and lights and getting it ready for when I have the money to redo my exhaust (I have all the parts just need to get it all installed)

Here's a picture of the car. The motor shot and interior was from the day I got the car. I have mroe recent shots on my cardomain page.

I'm looking forward to learning some more about my car from the forums here and contributing to the information as well as becoming part of the community.

welcome!
I'm from Ottawa myself. Looks like Canadians are starting to take over the board
there's a great bunch of people here always offering a helping hand. We also look forward to your contribution

Welcome. Nice ride 8) . What did you use to replace the wood grain on the bezels?

On the interior? I took off all the pieces to measured them and put them into CAD files. I then had Diamond plate laser cut to size. I epoxyed them to the existing plastic so they slide right in. I found some Olds rocket logos (still not sure where/when they where used on cars) and had a small square cut out of the center piece so they just slid right in and looked "orginal". I still have all the files I did up which the cutter used in his machine as well as regular image files with all the measurements. Been meaning to upload them somewhere so people can download them as they see fit.

and thanks khan0165, There's quite a few of us. and about 15 of us with Gbodies within the Durham region
