Hey there everyone, my name is Jason. I'm new to your forum and I just purchased a 1979 Malibu Wagon. I would love to get some suggestions on places to order parts for these vehicles. Need interior pieces at the moment due to getting brittle and breaking. Also need most of the weatherstriping. Any help would be great.

Thanks

Welcome aboard, Jason.
As far as interior plastics are concerned, you'll have to find them used from a donor car (4-dr sedan or G-body wagon)
Weatherstripping is available for the doors, but the rear hatch and tailgate you'll have to improvise.
For the rear tailgate/ hatch opening, some of us have used hatch seals from a '90's Plymouth Voyager/ Dodge Caravan. They don't look like the original, but they work quite well.
Here's a place that sells door opening seals. http://www.dannoenterprises.com/

Hope this helps you.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes and the info. It looks like I bought another project that doesn't have parts that are easy to come by.

Don't forget, these cars are over 30 yrs old. Most cars that old, parts are alittle more of a challenge to find. Don't give up hope, the stuff is out there.

Welcome to the forum. The parts are out there for sure, just have to keep an eye out and be patient some times. Good luck and post some pics when you get a chance, we like pics.

Just went through your pic's love that two tone, I'm wanting to two tone my lemans in that color scheme whenever I get to it accept with a darker brown (think hershey wrapper) with the tan top. Great base for a starting point 😀 and welcome aboard!
