Alright I have a 85' Regal with the 231 V6 and I swapped out the metric 200c for a TH350.

I have everything bolted up but swapping trannys is new to me so I have a couple questions.

Where does the vacuum line from the 350 go into the engine?

Is the kickdown bracket I got off the donor car ( it was a 86 regal with a V8 ) a MUST? I remember reading somewhere it was but me and my buddy were wondering exactly why the one on the V6 won't work.

Since I put a non lock-up 350 in place of a lock up 200, should I be doing anything electronic or just having it not hooked up no big deal?

thanks for any help

There should be a fitting on the intake manifold for the vacuum line to the modulator to hook up to. If you don't have a spot on your motor, you will have to go find a fitting at the hardware store or something.

I'm not too familiar with the metric 200, but if you already have a provision for a cable hook up on your carb, then just use that. I'd make sure to check the adjustment of the cable though.

There shouldn't be any issue about the non lock-up converter.
