Hello everyone just found your forum while searching for G-body info. I do not own but am currently working on a '78 Malibu that belongs to my dad. We both live on the same property and share a garage and projects. We each have our own project besides the ones we share. Our current cars are '55 Bel air with a 355 crate motor and a '75 Corvette with 52,000 original miles my dad had to have. I am not a big fan of corvettes but my dad always liked them and we picked it up needing very little (mostly complete brake system) at a good price. My current project is a '83 Caprice wagon. I am building a flat top, vortec head small block for it and have a 2" cowl hood on it along with wheel vintique chrome rally wheels. Our other project which belongs to my dad is a '78 Malibu I found back in June. We were working on a '79 Nova which needs a lot to put on the road and the Malibu was less engine so the plan was get enough part to build 1 or the other into a decent and quick cruiser. The Malibu ended up being a nice car and decided to just get a new crate engine for it. After looking at this engine and that engine I talked him into going with the ZZ502 Deluxe engine. So we set it in place yesterday and bolted up the transmission. Ended up with wrong pulleys so have to get that ordered this week and am fighting with the headers but it is starting to come together.
Well that is my intro, sorry about being long winded and thanks for having me. Look forward to meeting others and getting advice from other members.

Welcome. Love the projects you have.

Welcome aboard!
Nice projects for sure. Your Caprice wagon is a cool looking ride.

Welcome to the site. I'm digging the projects and your screen name-mostly because it could be mine ever since I joined this site haha. Keep us updated on the rides.
