How are you all. I have an '85 Cutlass Supreme mildly modified. I replaced the original 3.8 with a 305 chevy with Edelbrock intake and Edelbrock 650 cfm carb, Flowtech headers into thrush glasspacks, 95 Astro van front seats and a Hurst quarter stick gated shifter. After I get it all together I want to install a mild shift kit in the transmission and run Trick Shift. So far so good except where can I get motor mount brackets, not the pads on the frame but the bracket itself that attaches the motor to the pads. I've had quite a time locating the proper ones. I have come up with the Balkamp part number 6021107 for an 85 Monte Carlo. Is this the proper one? I would order it if I thought it was the proper one. Any input would be great and I look forward to being able to share pics of my ongoing Cutlass project...

welcome and for those motor mounts go to the junkyard and they are all the same for any sbc you need the ones that bolt to the block like a clamshell then you need the ones for a MC or malibu that bolt to the frame

Get the block mounts off another SBC powered G-body, so you don't have to worry about differences in height.
If they're too tall, they'll cause the fan to hit the top of the shroud.

I thought the ones that bolt to the block are all the same? guess I learned something new today
