16 wow is that a record for gbodies

when i had 2 i was like damn i gotta get rid of this other one its taking up space

This thread sounds familiar, familiar to another one with 16 g-body type cars. /snip/

You just "figured" you could come here and sell these unwanted parts -- yet nobody knows who you are. Who the hell races g-bodies in the dirt?? They are not dirt track race type cars with tuned suspensions and all. And 16 of them? How do you end up with 16 g-body cars? BEFORE YOU MAKE ONE SINGLE SALE, post some pictures of these cars, with the VIN tags, and post some pictures and details of your shop, your race track, the name, the location, contact information. I DARE YOU.

G-bodies are used heavily in the IMCA series in many different divisions. If I had a race team I assume that I would have many cars on hand. No need to jump down a new guys throat.

Welcome to the site. I believe you but to ease everyone here I'd put up some evidence. cause yes the g-body is a breed of car that seems to get stolen alot. Most of the time I get warnings from people to protect my regal. I'm not worried because God protects my property. And should it leave me, it just means it was time to let it go. I'd sell mine today but there is too many poverty people who always want something for nothing. Flap flap flap. I'm going off on a tangent. Welcome. 😀

Why don't you politely ask for some info proving the cars aren't stolen instead of assuming they are and be a dick to the guy? Also, what factory car does have suspension tuned for dirt track racing? None, I would think. Plenty of people use these cars for dirt track racing. They are cheap to get and have good aftermarket suspension support for them. I met this one guy off of craigslist who uses G bodies for dirt track racing. He said he usually has at least 5 or 6 that he uses for the frames and bodies and sells the parts he doesn't need. He told me he pretty much looks all over the state and picks up any cheap g bodies he can find.

I assumed that and acted like a dick to the guy only because it sounds all-too-familiar and highly suspicious, nevertheless in the event I'm wrong, however unlikely, and he provides the information proving to be legit than I will gladly take it all back and apologize, put my foot in my mouth and even buy the guy a drink. When an unknown guy says what was said and knowing that these cars get stolen so often and "disappear" but in reality end up in chop shops for resale of parts (especially g-bodies) I get very defensive and suspicious, being a victim of car theft myself. I'm no expert in g-body theft/recovery and yes, I have in mind (at the very back of my mind) that I *could* be wrong... but still I couldn't help my retaliatory reaction. That's not justification , just an explanation of my dick-like behaviour. :?
