New here from IL just bought a 87 442

is it a real 442 or a clone? those stripes aren't original. maybey just had the gold stripe painted instead of shelling out the $$ for the stripe kit

im guessing its real and someone just gave it a custom paint job and did away with the orange parking lights, reversed the gray and the black and probably painted the stripes on like you said since the number is black and looks to be painted on, it looks kinda cool if ya ask me

Thnks for the welcome all I am in Lockport. She is a real 442 just custom painted. She was a show car a few years back from what the original owner told me and did pretty well. Now she is a GREAT Cruiser and looker. A IL meet up would be AWSOME especially if we could pull it off in October sometime before the crap weather hits.
