Just want to say hi since I’m new to the forum. I used to have an 86 Monte Carlo SS and I am planning on buying another 83-88 Ss in the near future. I am already pricing out the motor components I plan to use. I look forward to learning from everyone. Here is the only picture I have of my long lost G body

Thanks. I am hoping I can stick to my plan. It’s goig to be a long and expensive endeavor. I have a little bit before I can really start looking for my project. Already have my interior and exterior color scheme planned lol but I am getting ahead of myself.

What I plan on using is a LQ4 block with L92 heads. I haven’t decided on whether I want fuel injection or carbureted. I think I am leaning toward fuel injection even though I know the wiring is going to add to the cost. If I go fuel injection I’ll get an LS3 intake and use a 90 mm throttle body.
