Just wanted to say hi and thank you from Florida. Thank you for having a forum for us G-Body guys! I have a 79 green/camel Malibu wagon. Id love to post some pics, but haven't figured that out yet. It has a 68' 327, th350, and a open 3.73 monte rear. Its only bee with me for a month or so, so I'm still going through it, including some rust :-( But I will be trolling and posting as I go. I already have a question, but I will put that in the correct area. Thanks again for having me!!

Welcome aboard!
It's always good to see more wagon guys join our ranks. I'd love to see pics of your Malibu wagon.
BTW, where in our great state do you reside?

Welcome to the site.

Longroof, I'm down in a town called Davenport. Short jaunt south if Disney..

I see about where you are on the map. Polk county near Lakeland - Winterhaven. I can't say that I've ever been thru your town before.

I guess no one was able to answer your wheel question?

As far as posting pics, do you have a Photobucket account?

Yeah, seems no one wants to or can answer my rum question... Hhhmmm. And is photobucket the only way to post pics? Because I don't have an account. An hey BMR, I guess I can drive out to you guys instead of buying hotchkins upper and lowers?

There is other photo sharing sites, like Flickr, etc, but Photobucket is what I've been used to. I suppose they all work the same way. However, I can't verify that. They're free, except if you want photos printed.
If you do sign up on Photobucket, I'll try to help you with the posting... It's not difficult.

As for your rim fitment question, I suppose anyone with a similar size wheel, diameter and backspace can help you. Sorry, I wouldn't have that information.

What are your plans for the car? I'm sure the 327 powers it along nicely.

I bought it with the 327 in it. But, with the gearing and the 3spd, its not as fun as it could be. Its def out of time, and the exhaust is "homemade"... First and foremost, I bought a gauge pod from gbodyparts.com to install some vital monitors. Then I craigslisting some exhaust pipe, flowmasters, and if I can swing it, flowtech headers. After that, its the timing issues, and I'm gonna swap in some roller rockers. After that I have a line on a 700r4 that I'll throw a rebuild in... Once that is squared away, its a 8.5 rear. I'm picking up a good machined .30 bbc, so when its ready for the torque that may go in. BUT, during all this, if a LSX pull out comes across my lap. That's where I'm goin. LOL... This isn't my first rodeo, especially with g-bodies. Luckily, I'm alil bit older, with alil more knowledge, and alil more money.... So this time, I plan on doing it right.
