hello, I'm new here, but i'm not new to the G body, I've owned several 83-88 Monte SS over my 55 years of living on the planet earth. I also have a restored 70 Monte, a 50 Chevrolet 3100 (5 window), I'm currently working on my 50K mile 87 Monte SS, it was all original until a few years ago it got a 91 T5 trans, this summer I upgraded it to a 95 LT1 & T56 combo, I took the body off the frame, frame was sandblasted & painted, all suspension & body bushings were replaced.

Welcome to the forum. I'm one state over in KY. That's a good looking SS. Is that an LT4 intake or an LT1 intake painted red? I love that you went with the T56. I'm wanting to put one in my '86 Monte. What's your setup as far as pedals and master cylinder?

It looks like you know how to build a car. I'd love to see some pics of your '70 Monte.

good eye on the intake manifold, its just a LT1 intake painted red to look like an LT4 intake. As for my clutch pedal, I used a stock g body clutch & brake pedal, its mated to the 95 Z28 stock hydraulic & slave cylinder, I mocked everything up & had to weld a piece to the clutch pedal to get the geometry to line up, after everything was installed & hooked up, I can push the clutch in with my hand easily.

Welcome aboard!
That's hardly what I'd consider a hillbilly build, or redneck engineering. Nice work, man.
Thanks for sharing the pics..
