Cool site. I bought my first gbody a few months ago (78 cutlass) and have slowly accumilating parts for it. Somebody has attempted to put an engine together for it I guess to make it fast...didnt work. My goals for the car are a mid 12 sec street toy. It has a small block in it now with pro topline heads and its probably gonna end up with a bigblock in it. Ive been reading posts here for a cpl weeks and figured I should join. Great site with a ridiculous amount of information.

Very. Especialy with wheel fitment. Im gonna run big and littles on this one. Id like to run rallys in back and probably draglites up front.

350 w\flat tops a performer cam and intake and pro topline torkers w/76cc chambers....so no compression and no power lol...I aim to fix that problem here shortly.

That will get you in the 12's - I run a 350 (stock block L-82) chevy 2.02 iron heads, Vic Jr w/750, and a comps 306s flat tappet - runs 11.20's

Id like to hear more about that setup if you dont mind sharing. Im still thinking about the motor but Im wrenching on the back of my car working my way forward so I do have some time. My 9in should be here in the next day or two and the th400 is still under the knife.
