Hey guys and gals. Just got my new VFN fiberglass 4" cowl induction hood. I thought I would put it on the car and shoot some pics. I haven't pinned it on yet but it still looks pretty good to me. Taking these pictures showed me that I have taken a lot of weight off the front end. I may have to cut some coils or change them all together. Here are the new pics.

Speaking of lights, where did you get the head lights on that?

Looks awsome man! it makes it look alot meaner. how much did VFN charge you for freight for the hood?

I got the pin on hood so here is what it cost me
Hood = $290+tax
crating charge=$20
then ABF trucking charged me
$149.97 to ship +
$18.74 for some bogus Absolute MIN Charge Adjustment
$54.01 to ship to residential+
$27.26 Fuel surcharge.
So shipping total was $180.77.
I was going to pick it up myself but they took 6 weeks to make it and the truck I was going to borrow from my father in law broke down. It is only 3 hours from my house. Oh Well! If you want to play you got to pay!LOL!! It looks like it fits great. I only have it sitting on the car for now but later I will mount the pins on it. I have had a lot cheaper hoods that don't fit worth a crap. They do good work at VFN. I would recommend them to anyone needing anything fiberglass.

The hood looks great! Time to cut those coils though... Are you going to pull it out and take some pics outside too? Would love to see some. I always wondered what a cowl would look like... do you know if they offer a 2" cowl?

it looks like she want to do a wheelie sitting still :lol:
