Not the bearing cover. The Mopar one is much bigger than the Chevy. Look at the end of the input shaft. See the Mopar version and how long and fat it is.
Yup. Totally different animal. At that point it's probably easier to just use a Ford RUG Toploader or a T5. Not sure if it's still available but Lakewood used to offer a Toploader pattern GM scattershield which would make it a bolt-in. I also recall Jeep using a bellhousing for a 231 with a T19(?) Behind it, making a BOP to Ford transmission possible.
