New to this board, been around cars for a long time. I have recently inherited a 78' Malibu 2 door, it was honestly not a car that I ever would have gone and sought out, and, is fairly low optioned, power steering, power brakes, 305 2bbl.

Now, that said, I have 1 high performance car, I don't really need 2, but I am going to mod this one, as I cannot leave anything alone. I am considering a motor swap, my choices for this swap are.....

mildly built 350

LSX motor/trans swap

Ford 5.0 Coyote motor/trans swap

Suggestions/comments are welcome

Used to getting my balls busted, been married 22 years.

I have considered the LS motor, not sure whether the 5.3 or 6.0 is the better choice, obviously fuel injection will be my choice, not sure if I want O.E., F.A.S.T. or the MSD setup.

But in all honesty, I will most likely sell the car unless there is some possibility that I can make this thing nice for 20k or less, i'll know that, once I get it into a shop and on a lift.

I'll get some pics tomorrow, as I am picking it up late in the day.
