Dam thats a nice 86 camino wish mine was that nice good choice with the cap saw one yesterday and 😛 yuck keep up the good work .

Thanks guys, yea the interior is in good shape, its beige and a little faded but overall pretty nice. The seat has one small cut, and the carpet had some coffee stains, but I was able to get them out. The bed is pretty spotless though, guess the cap and bedliner helped.

Someone thought it was an SS, now I do have the Z15 rpo code in the dash, but I looked it up here: http://cs.pontiac-club.com/graphics/...-car-codes.pdf, and it only says collectors edition, not SS. Whats the deal with that? I read that all 86's were collectors editions because it was a anniversary year, is this correct? Doesnt the SS have a center console/shifter a tach, ect..? plastic front (monte ss style)

I ran the truck department of a Buick-GMC dealer at that time, and saved a copy of the 1987 Chevrolet / GMC Data book, the catalog (bible) from which we ordered our trucks. Z15 is truly the body code for the SS model. The Z15 model included: rocker panel molding delete, front air dam painted lower body color, dual aero-type body color mirrors, lower-body two-tone paint with vinyl pinstriping to cover the paint break and rally wheels with bright trim rings. All the other items you mention were available as options on an individual basis. The package with the Monte SS-type nose and large "SS" badging was an optional package available only on the Z15 model. The truck was built by GM, then shipped to Choo-Choo Customs for upfitting before it arrived at the dealer.

What year Camaro do you have? Those are Camaro and El Camino type rallies too. My uncle's 76 Classic came with them.
