Just thought I would sign up and say hello to everyone here. I'm pretty new to the G body world and looking forward to meeting some people with similar cars and hopefully I can learn some stuff along the way. I ended up trading an atv I had last year for a 1982 cutlass supreme brougham. There was no particular reason that I wanted it, it just seemed like it would a cool new toy. After doing the minor work to it and putting it on the road this summer I tried to sell it or trade it again. After meeting with a few people it became pretty apparent that I didn't really want to sell it anymore because I was spending all my free time looking up different things I could do to it over the winter while it was in storage.

I'm pretty set on putting a new motor and transmission in it as well as some other upgrades. It currently has a 4.4l 267 V8 with only 56000 original km on it so its a bit of a shame to pull such a nice motor out, but it is what it is. Anyways, Ij ust figured I

Welcome to the site from north of Oshawa Ontario. Lots of good people here, including a number of members from around southern Ontario.
Nice looking Cutlass. I'm curious about the rims. They look like they're from a newer front wheel drive Oldsmobile, possibly an Alero. I didn't think that the bolt patterns and offset between FWD and RWD vehicles are compatible. Do you know what kind of rims are on the car?

Thanks for the replies guys and I yes, plan on keeping it for quite a long time now 🙂 im already hunting for a good 350 and transmission combo to put in it as we speak.. as far as the rims go you are right, they are from an alero or something like that. I just assumed he bolt patterns must be the same. They have been on the car since I got it and because the tires are in really good shape I have left them on. It also came with steel rims and spoked hub caps but my plan is to get a nice set of rally rims this winter for her and then sell the alero rims and tires.
