My name is Wayman and im currently in Minnesota. I have had a passion for cars since i could remember. Im pretty mechanically inclined. 10 years stealership experience with Chrysler products mainly diesel, left and went to a family owned shop in the independent world and now i make double! Ive built quite a few vehicles over the years from hondas to lincolns and snow mobiles. I enjoy just about anything with a engine. Have wanted a g body for years and i saved up enough to get a super clean one recently! I have a 1981 cutlass base. Currently has a 383 stroker (seat of the pants dyno 400 at the wheel) beefed up 400 turbo and a 442 rear end. Looking forward to gaining knowledge and feed back, giving knowledge and feed back and seeing and sharing the good and the bad with like minded individuals.

Love it. Welcome aboard, Wayman!

Welcome, good looking car. How do you like the 383? I had hoped mine would put me in my seat more
For what it is im happy with it.... for now! Haha. I spent the first couple drives just playing with it in drive (it has a slap shift in it) and it was fun. Started driving it in slap mode with more gear control running it up to about 5800 rpm and it turned into a different animal. In drive i wana say my th400 shifts about 4k rpms. Theres allot of money in the motor. I never had it dynoed. I wouldnt be suprised if i am making around 500 hp at the crank. What gear ratio you running in your rear end?

Not a clue to be honest, I believe it has the later SS rear end in it since it has posi
