We get many new users every day, it seems. Many introduce themselves, many don't. I am posting to encourage all of you new GBF'ers, to say "hi" and introduce yourself to the rest of us.
You will find there are many knowledgable, helpful, friendly, and fun people here.

Enjoy your stay! and keep the GBodies rolling.

Not new but "hi".

Hey PapaBear is your screen name a play on Stephen Colbert and "Papa Bear O'Reilly"?

I agree with Papa..I notice many new members will ask a question on their first post without an introduction, etc.
We encourage a friendly forum. So guys, Introduce yourselves, say "HI" and tell people what you're working on.

No, but LOL....I got it many years ago, when someone saw me holding a baby.....they said I held it like a PapaBear protecting a little baby bear.....corny I guess, bu the nickname stuck.

Hey it's not that corny, it's a hell of a lot better than some nicknames I've gotten over the years... I couldn't even list all of them and I hated almost all of them.

The one I hated the most was "big cat" which was followed by chants of "meeeeeoooowww". I don't even want to get into how I got that one. I've been Johnny Rocket because I take my time, Juan Chico because I was deemed a "Mexican't"... I don't know why people feel the need to nickname me. :?

well, hey there, nycutlass....you're not new! lol....just kidding. Glad you chimed in, and if I haven't before, let me say "Welcome"! BTW, what part of New York you from? I was born in Schenectady; Dad was stationed at Griffiss AFB, we lived in Herkimer....but we moved when I was a year or two old....so I don't remember much. lol. I always wanted to travel back there to see the country. My wife is actually from Syracuse, moved to Tennesse, and we met here.
