So this idiot in a 2011 bmw 3 series just pulled out in front of me I tried to stop but it was too late
I'm so pissed, my transmission goes into park after I force it but the ignition is still locked so the keys
won't come out also the fan is hitting the radiator shroud I know it's fixable, but the only g body parts
car I can find is at a mechanics shop and has been there for like 10 years he claims he put a chevy 350
in it for some guy who never came back and he's asking $1000 for it. I don't even know if it runs what
should I do? l'll post pictures of the other car when I get a chance.

Damn that's gotta suck. It might be cheaper to have parts shipped from western Canada.

At the end of the day no matter how much you love your Cutlass it's not a person. $1,000 for that other Cutlass sounds good to me - that's what I paid for mine and it came with a 307 with bad gaskets - yours will have a chevy 350 so you should be a few gaskets, belts, and hoses away from starting with 100 hp more than I have. Treat the Cutlass you wrecked as a 'parts car' - buy the other 1, and swap everything over that looks good. It sucks to say goodbye to an old friend but you might have frame damage and the only way to tell will be to take that body off of the frame. The good news is you're in Alaska man - somebody definitely needs that frame somewhere. It would be worth less than $300 in most states but you can probably sell just the frame itself for closer to $600 if it is not bent & rust free. GL w/e you do, and keep posting. People on here are cool as hell and will help you get hard to find parts like the bezels & trim if you stay on this site & part the things you aren't going to swap over in the f/s section

^ just to be clear I made this post assuming you have a 307 or a v6. If you already have an engine/trans you spent big $ on than just ignore everything I said & fix the Cutty you already have lol
