Hello everyone, new to the forum but not new to modding cars. Big time Mopar guy and have built a few Modern Mopars both for show and the track. I'm 41 years old and grew up on G bodies and have had a ton of them growing up. I have always had the itch to pick one up and do something with it. With that said, I'm in the market for a Malibu. Had a few lined up in the last month and had the owners sell them on me before I could get to them. Still not sure of my plans when I do find one. Keep going back and forth on a 383 crate motor or LS swap. Looking to be about 450HP to the crank on motor. Other than that just a clean respectable cruiser that I can hit the local cruise night or car show with the occasional trip to the track. Looking forward to learning a ton from everyone as I have been out of the G Body world for a looong time.

Welcome to the forum. We have a "Cars for Sale" section that I'm sure you've found by now. Lol. If you're wanting to learn about G Bodies, this is the place to be. Lots of good info and good people on here. Make yourself at home and be sure to post some pics when you find a car!

Welcome from AZ and good luck finding a Malibu.

Welcome aboard!

Welcome Shawn, this is by far one of the friendly-est forums on the Internet! I see that you are looking for a Malibu. I've been trying to sell mine on & off for 8 years. Just haven't found the right guy with enough money yet. I've turned down good offers & a couple of years ago because I didn't care for the guy I sent him away also. I'm way TOO picky who gets this car. And I kept of all (97%) the receipts for the 37-1/2 years I've owned it. Would you believe over $48,000 & that doesn't count the parts that are no longer on the car. Just the ones that are still working at holding it together & performing to my ever increasing performance standard! Your more than welcome to take a look & confirm that I'm unrealistic as I want 1/2 my money back $24,000.00. But the right person may get me to move off my 1/2 price target. Anyway good luck with your search, Ole' Bob

Welcome to the site from Houston. Good luck with the search. My free advice....hold out for the best body you can find/afford. The mechanical stuff is the easy part. The body and interior is the hard part.
