1979 el camino
This is my first big purchase of my life. Saved money throughout high-school and got A job at a local military factory (basically paid quite nicely) this thing is actually extremely clean. Not a single problem. 80000 miles with oil change record's , two owner car. This is not a real royal night!! I knew that when buying. Did not bother me at all. 305 with the old 4 barrel Quadrajet. But she has alot of go for a 41 year old car. (However runs a bit rich) transmission will shift smoothly while cruising. Then nice and hard when youre on it. By far the best th350 I've driven.
My future upgrades
I plan on installing headers. With a single exhaust out the side before the rear tire. (Look at my accident post if you wanna check out what I plan to change with the hood and header panel. ) after that is done. I plan on going EFI fuel injection. I want to use the edelbrock proflo 4. I know its only a stock motor and wouldn't do much. I'd be doing it for a cool factor. Fuel efficiently. And maybe more power who knows. But the proflow 4 with the smallest injectors are meant for stock or light engine builds. Another thing i should fix is the air condition. I've always ripped out old air-conditioning systems in other projects. But this car deserves it. (And maybe passengers) ill keep updating everyone as time progresses. I'm sure I'll need help as I take on these projects. I am very new to g bodies. Thankyou all for this great forum.
