I recently discovered this forum. I also belong to two others both of which I am fairly well know on. This forum encompasses the entire G body cars. My interest focuses on the 1984-1987 Turbo Regals. Normally I sign off with my real name but could not do it in this forum.
So I went with DSK-INC not sure if this forum lets me post my email or not.
I am always in the market for parts related to these cars. I also know quite a bit about them. Besides the fact body fit is not the best, oil leaks can be expected and powermaster brake units have a high failure rate.
On the plus side, the 1987 Turbo Regal is noted for being the fastest US Production car which upset 1987 Corvette owners since the Corvette was destined to always
be the top dog in that category.
I must say I also do like the Hurst Olds models I know a lot about early Hurst history and I personally know one of the persons who worked on the original 1968 Hurst Olds prototype. I grew up about 15 minutes from the original Hurst plant.
Hard to believe the G body format is now passed the 25 year age and parts are getting more difficult to find.
Will chirp in from time to time.
If you own a Grand National chances are you know the connection between the Lexus cars and the Grand National. Bit of trivia for the new owners...
